Keep Moving

Hosted by the South Bay Boardriders Club, this popular paddleboard race features a scenic course starting off Manhattan Beach Pier, heading south to round Hermosa Beach Pier, and finishing on the beach, testing skill and endurance over a dynamic ocean route. Open to paddlers with their own boards, it also offers a limited supply of soft paddleboards from L.A. County Lifeguards on a first-come, first-served basis, welcoming participants of all levels. Part of the broader Surf Festival, it celebrates the South Bay’s coastal culture and physical fitness with a thrilling community vibe.
