The 2026 Dwight Crum Pier to Pier Swim is a challenging 2-mile ocean race from Hermosa Beach Pier to Manhattan Beach Pier. Now in its 63rd year, the event features a 2-hour course limit and starts in heats beginning at 9:00 a.m. Key Registration Info Deadline: Midnight, July 19, 2026 (No race-day sign-ups) Mandatory Swim Test: New participants (those who did not finish in 2025) must pass a 500m check out; swim on July 11, 18, or 19 at Hermosa Beach Pier.
